Sumatra Takengon
Sumatra Takengon marks our very first release from Indonesia — an unforgettable cup sourced from the famed highland town of Takengon, where cool mountain air and volcanic soil shape some of the island’s most expressive coffees. Grown by the IKA Cooperative and processed in the traditional wet-hulled style, this medium roast lands with a lush, syrupy body and a layered profile of grapefruit, passion fruit, cocoa powder, and hibiscus, rounded by cedar, juniper, and a grounded, earthy sweetness. Expect a dense, complex cup that feels both adventurous and deeply comforting — perfect for alpine mornings or slow, reflective afternoons. Consider this our boldest passport stamp yet.
