Maybe it’s the caffeine or maybe it’s just the sentiment of entering into a new decade, but regardless I wanted to share a few things with you on the cusp of a new year! 2019 was a year of grit, determination and down-right dedication. We opened distribution in over 150 grocery stores across the state including Whole Foods, and won four national awards on our Truckee roasted coffees. Along the way we had so much fun activating at ski resorts, doing demos in your hometown and supporting our incredible food service and hospitality partners. While DCDS continues to strengthen our presence in the region and penetrate the mass coffee market, we never want to lose sight of the people and place of Lake Tahoe, so earlier this month, we opened our first retail coffee shop in Incline Village — further creating jobs and contributing to the local four season economy.
I personally couldn’t be more proud of DRINK COFFEE DO STUFF, our extraordinary staff and the stoked customers we’re so grateful to roast for. 2020 will be a wild year! We plan to continue building our retail presence in the Reno/Tahoe region, roasting award-winning coffees and expanding our network of partners so that if you live in the greater Northern California/Nevada region there is no void of opportunity to DRINK COFFEE DO STUFF! In tandem to new business benchmarks we’re aiming for, we also aim to be even more active in our local community, supporting environmental non-profits, offering educational classes to the public and investing directly back into our staff.
At this point DRINK COFFEE DO STUFF is not just my dream, but a mechanism to inspire, empower and improve lives: yours and ours. Thank you for your support. All of us at DCDS wish you the happiest New Year!
